Spice Fusion will now be selling "Chef John's Signature Seasoning."  It will be available online soon, and is available at the Lake Geneva School of Cooking.  It will also soon be available at Fat Louie's Olive Oil Company in Egg Harbor, WI. This is a multipurpose seasoning that can be used on almost anything.  You'll be able to try it out soon. 

    

 

                   Our Specialty Blends

Smokin’ BBQ: One of Spice Fusion’s signature blends, a sprinkle-on seasoning which is great on most meats and is also good in salad, fried vegetables, dressings, egg, and cheese dishes. (This is one of Tom “Bowman the Showman Signature Blends”)

 

Italian Blend:  This traditional salt free blend of herbs is good in Italian red sauces and can be added to vinaigrette recipes and marinades or sprinkled on tomato salads. Great as a rub for poultry.  SALT FREE

 

Fusion’s Seasoned Salt:  A favorite sprinkle on to just about anything that needs an extra boost of flavor.

 

Rib Rub:  Excellent sweet smoke flavored rub for ribs, roasts, and just about any other meat you would put on the grill or bake.

 

Bourbon Explosion:  A great seasoning for poultry and pork that can be sprinkled on or rubbed in for maximum flavor.  This spicy blend has a great flavor and is best used for grilling.

 

Fusion Grill:  Sprinkle on meats as desired before cooking for an instant flavor of charbroiled foods.  This is great for those who use gas grills, and for foods cooked in the oven or on the stove, but still looking for a grilled taste.

 

Greek Fusion:  Excellent sprinkle-on seasoning for steaks, chops, and roasts. Adds flavor to cooked vegetables. Mix with vinegar and oil for tasty salad dressing.

 

Deep Blue Fusion:  Similar to traditional Chesapeake Bay seafood seasonings, this blend can be also be used in meatloaf and hamburgers.

Great on shrimp, crab, salmon, and other seafood.

 

Mesquite Chicken:  This rough-hewn blend of vegetables, herbs and spices is especially applicable as a rub for roast chicken. It may also be used as a shake-on seasoning for cooked foods.

 

Margarita Blend:  A sprinkle on blend great for fish, shrimp or chicken kabobs.  Or have fun with it and try some fusing of your own. 

 

Blackened Rub:  Used as a seasoning for fish, chicken or steak. When cooked in an iron skillet without oil provides a blackened effect.  Great all around blackened flavor any way you cook it.

 

Creole Fusion:  All purpose seasoning with a bit of a bite. Used as a rub on or sprinkle to taste.  Also great in gumbo’s and stews.

 

Hot Jamaican:  Rub this sweet-hot blend on chicken, fish or pork before grilling or broiling.  Or for those more cautious you may prefer to sprinkle it.

 

Citrus BBQ:  A great citrus tang for any meats your grilling.  Can also be combined with some other spices to make very unique flavors.  Also works great as a marinade seasoning.

 

Tijuana Lime:  The distinctive smoky, sweet flavor of Chipotle chili offset by the tang of lime provides a unique flavor to grilled seafood, fish and chicken.  Also good on baked fish.  

 

Beef Rub:  A delicious dry mix to rub into pork and beef before slow cooking or smoking.  May be used as a nice complement to a marinade.  SALT FREE

 

Vegetable Blend:  Sprinkle this salt free seasoning on as desired. Excellent on salads and vegetables. This is one of Spice Fusion’s signature blends.  SALT FREE

 

Northwood’s Fish Seasoning:  Ideal for use as sprinkle on seasoning for light, delicate freshwater fish such as trout, walleye, crappie and bluegill.  Also a great addition to a batter mix. 

 

Louisiana’s ‘Hot Mama’:  All purpose seasoning with a bit of a bite. Used as a rub on or sprinkle to taste.  Also is great in gumbo, or stews.  Have a cold beer ready when using this one.  SALT FREE

 

Lime Fusion:  A pepper blend fused with Lime to create a great spice for fish, chicken or shrimp.  Very tangy and unique flavor.

 

Smokin’ Orange:  The distinctive smoky, sweet flavor of Chipotle chili offset by the sweetness of orange provides a unique flavor to grilled seafood and chicken. Tom’s favorite is with shrimp.

 

Garlic Herb:  An all-purpose seasoning, which is excellent on meats, poultry, fish, and vegetables.  It’s especially good on grilled or baked chicken, and can also be used in a batter.  SALT FREE

Lake Geneva Chef Hopes to Make Cooking a ‘Total Experience’

 

The Lake Geneva School of Cooking is located in the historic parsonage connected to the Geneva Village Shops at 727 Geneva Street in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The Lake Geneva School of Cooking offers entertaining, culinary classes for the cooking enthusiast, whether novice or gourmet.

 

Accompanied by owner and chef, John Bogan, students will learn professional cooking techniques in the school’s Wood-Mode, custom kitchen, which features Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. Emphasizing culinary essentials, Chef John provides an opportunity for cooking enthusiasts to experience hands-on preparation and dinner demonstrations, which allows them to develop their own creative cooking talents.

 

Classes will provide the essential training one needs to become a proficient cook without the cost or time commitment of a traditional culinary academy. In addition to daily classes, the school offers catering and corporate team building events, and hosts private parties including:
